The 1967 Chevelle Project

In 2006 the Willow Creek CARS Ministry in which I am a volunteer leader restored a 1967 Chevelle as a promotional tool to enlist new volunteers.  The project was lead by Warren Young and John Gingerich with the work being completed by the volunteers.  During 2006 and 2007 we sold raffle tickets and gave the car away in February 2008.  Scroll down to view a pictorial of how the work progressed.

Couple of engine close ups

I had nothing to do with building the engine, but I did get in the picture!

We first showed the car of (still a work in process) at the Willow Creek Dad's Fest in June 2006
